The Shame of the Sun
A journey through a deep, boring and schizophrenic America. I would always hang out outside of the cities, to see what the countryside had to say. I discovered an endangered nature, women and men living in fear. Fear of each other. On the one hand, the wild animal escapes the sight of humans or else it will be executed or captured; on the other hand, a human insults, arms and barricades himself against the alien quadruped or biped… Florida Sunshine State. Constantly violated by an ever-increasing consumption of natural ressources, nature rebels and automatically triggers cataclysms. Later along the road i will document the apocalypse experienced by the city of Paradise in California. What remains when everything was burned down? Massive evacuations, devastated soils, women and men looking for charred bodies in what remains of their sacred “Home".
