
This year, The Prix Levallois received 520 applications from 51 countries. Thanks to a new online registration platform, participation has increased by 330% from 160 tà 520 applications from participants aged between 19 and 35.
Fannie Escoulen, Artistic Director for the Prize and Anna Planas, General coordinator, selected 15 finalists out of the 520 registrations.
Through documentary and intimate, plastic and formal approaches, the selection translates the state of contemporary photography today.
Some countries such as Spain and France are strongly represented in this year's selection as a result of the much greater number of applications.
The public is invited to vote for the Public choic Prize from 5 to 28 June.
